I chose to study in the UK because it aligns with my academic background and future career goals. Having attended an English-speaking school, it felt natural to continue my education in an English-speaking country. The UK also offers world-renowned programs in psychology, a field I am deeply passionate about. Additionally, its proximity to Morocco allows me to visit my family while experiencing life independently away from home. 

The University of Chester took part in a university fair at my previous school. After learning more about the program, university life, and the city, I decided the University of Chester was my best option for an English-based psychology degree.

I enjoy the research labs in my psychology course, as it allows students to discover the subject outside a lecture hall. Experimenting with high-tech equipment provided by the university during the psychology lab groups is one of my favourite things the course has to offer.

Once I complete my psychology course, I plan on continuing my education and enrolling in a master’s program specialising in the Pediatric Neuropsychology field. 

My favourite thing about the University of Chester is the sense of community and togetherness, whether it’s in the lecture halls with classmates, the sports hall with teammates, or in society meetings with fellow members. In my spare time, I go on walks alongside the canal, have coffee with friends, and go to volleyball training or play volleyball with friends at Grosvenor Park.

I would advise all international students considering applying to the University of Chester to get involved in societies and sports teams. The University of Chester is welcoming, but taking the first step in connecting with others will make your experience even more enjoyable.
